This place is very clean. Also quiet. It’s near a great veggie restaurant called Avocado. The owner was very informative. Beds were comfy and all the guests knew about the quiet curfew and obeyed it. Breakfast was good too, lots of choice plus coffee, tea and juices. Would stay here again.
The receptionist is amazingly kind and he is always available. The hostel is communicated with a coffe/bar/restaurant run also by the same poeple, so this way there is always someone to attend you. It's at 10 minutes of the station and, if you come by car, I think you can leave it in a little esplanade in front of the door. The rooms are very clean as well as the bathrooms. And they have a lot of space. At the main level you can find the kitchen-living room, with sofas and tv.The breakfast is included, and there is always available tea. And if you want to have lunch or dinner you only need to cross the door to the coffee and ask for food (not included in the price, so paid apart).
The Honey Den hostel was a great place for us to stay while we visited family in Gdansk. The staff were very friendly, helpful and flexible. The hostel is clean and we enjoyed breakfast every morning. There are shops and a market close by so you can buy food and cook if you wish too. Best of all is cafe which has just opened. The staff make excellent coffee, light meals, yummy snacks and interesting drinks at a reasonable price. I recommend it highly, best of luck Honey Den.
Great hostel with really special atmosphere. Quite, good place for rest. Very friendly, helpful staff. No problems during stay!
Clean, tidy and well-decorated place to stay in. Helpful and friendly staff which you can feel comfortable to talk to. Has the cleanest place for shower compared to other hostels I stayed before. Just a few streets away from the train station. Highly recommended.
The hostel is lively: brand new, designed with style, very clean and welcoming. Friendly and helpful stuff, quiet neighbourhood - not in the city centre but close to train and tram station as well as one of the most popular streets for lunch. If you're looking for a small, nice, relaxing place to stay in Gdańsk, this is the one to try. Would recommend and gladly stay there again :)
I was at Honey Den because I had a problem with my previous accomodation. I called them early in the morning and the staff couldn't be more helpful. They let me do early check-in. The location is not very close to the center, but there is a tram stop very near, so it's veey easy to get to the old town. Also, if you prefer calm places to sleep this is the place, becaude ay night is very silent. The Hostel was the most clean hostel I have ever seen. The bathrooms and kitchen were perfectly clean. The room was clean and very comfortable. Also: they serve breakfast in the morning, bread, jam, cereal, milk, tea and coffe. Everything was good. Would be back for sure!
